How it works

Everything in HelprDash,
page by page.

HelprDash runs your whole trade business from your phone. Set it up once in about 15 minutes, then most of what you do is reply YES or NO to a WhatsApp from TradiePal. This guide explains every page and exactly how to use it.

Watch how it works

Short, step-by-step videos. Plain words appear on screen to show you exactly what to enter — and what we're looking for.

Sign up your business

How to enter your details — what we're looking for, and why a few typos are no problem.

Set up your profile & go live

Fill in your public profile — trade, town and bio — then go live to start getting matched leads.

Add & track jobs

Add a job in seconds and watch it move across your board from first enquiry to paid.

Invoicing

Invoices go out through your own Stripe or Xero — your money lands straight in your bank.

TradiePal AI

Ask TradiePal anything about your business — it checks your real data and answers in plain English.

Your dashboard tour

A quick run through your whole business: jobs, invoices, mileage and compliance — all in one place.

How customers find you

What a customer sees: they describe the job and get matched to one trusted local pro — exclusively.

Getting started in 15 minutes

After you sign up you land on your Setup Guide. Work down these five steps and you’re ready to take work. You can do them in any order and come back any time.

1

Set up your profile

Add your trade, the area you cover and your phone number in Settings. This is how we send you the right leads.

2

Connect WhatsApp

Get a dedicated WhatsApp number for your business so TradiePal can answer enquiries and you can run everything by message.

3

Connect your payments

Link your own Stripe, Xero or QuickBooks. Invoices go out through your system — your money lands in your bank, never ours.

4

Add your certificates

Add your Gas Safe, NICEIC and insurance details so HelprDash reminds you 30 days before anything expires.

5

Add your first job

Log a job you already have on. Now your pipeline, customer record and reminders all start working.

The big idea: the dashboard is where you set things up; TradiePal on WhatsApp is where you run the day. Almost everything below can be done by just messaging TradiePal while you’re on the tools.

Every page, explained

Each tool in your dashboard, what it’s for and how to use it.

How to use it

  2. 2Check the alert cards for expiring certificates, due service reminders and fresh leads — each one links straight to the right page.
  3. 3Use the Quick Actions row to add a job, add a customer, log mileage or raise an invoice in one tap.

TradiePal AI

What it’s for

Your AI assistant that runs the whole platform by message — invoice, schedule, find materials and post to social, all in plain English.

How to use it

  1. 1Message TradiePal on your business WhatsApp number, or open TradiePal AI in the dashboard.
  2. 2Ask it naturally: "Invoice John £320 for the bathroom", "What jobs have I got tomorrow?", "Who owes me money?".
  3. 3It checks your real data and does the task, then confirms back to you. No menus, no clicks.

How to use it

  2. 2Move each job along the stages — lead, quoted, booked, in progress, done — as the work progresses.

Send a tidy quote a customer can approve from their phone, with no printing or PDFs.

How to use it

  1. 1Create a quote against a job, add your line items and total.

  2. 2Create an invoice from a job or from the Invoices page (or just tell TradiePal to do it).

How to use it

  1. 1Open Leads to see available enquiries with an AI quality score, postcode and rough value.
  2. 2View a lead to see the detail, then accept it to win the contact — respond fast, first response wins the job.
  3. 3Top up your lead credits from Buy Credits when you want more enquiries; only leads scored 7/10 or higher are charged.

Social Media

What it’s for

Weekly Facebook posts written for you, so your page stays active without you thinking about it.

How to use it

  1. 1Connect your Facebook Page once in Social Media.
  2. 2We write a post each week and send you a preview on WhatsApp.
  3. 3Reply YES to publish, or edit it first — nothing posts without your say-so.

How to use it
